Tropical Tennis Center
The Tropical Park Tennis Center features 12 lighted tennis courts, racquetball facilities and instructional programs. The tennis courts are all handicapped accessible and reservations are accepted at (305) 225-6006.
Tropical Equestrian Center
The Tropical Park Equestrian Center is a large facility featuring numerous activities each year. It's the home to more than 36 horse shows with two clay show rings, two grass courts and seating for 1,000 guests (expandable to 2,500 with portable seating for rodeos). Tropical Dog Park
Tropical Dog Park, dedicated in July 2009, is the newest addition to Tropical Park. This two-acre park is divided into two areas: one for large dogs over 35 pounds and another for smaller dogs. Canine play equipment includes tire jumps, window jumps, a king of the hill ramp and a dog walk. You'll find everything you need for your dog's comfort as well, including drinking fountains, water sprays and pooper scoopers.
Santa's Enchanted ForestSanta's Enchanted Forest
transforms a large portion of Tropical Park into a holiday wonderland every winter, featuring rides, attractions and over 3 million lights that are sure to delight every age. At the center of the park is the 90-foot Christmas tree lit from top to bottom. From traditional displays of Santa in his workshop to popular children's characters like the Power Puff Girls and Blue's Clues, there truly is something for everyone. The Tropical Park Amateur Boxing Program
allows men and women of all ages gain a sense of self confidence and learn a new sport. Approximately 2% of program participants go on to become professional boxers. The program operates at the Tropical Park Demos Boxing Center and the 27th Avenue Boxing Center on weekday evenings and Saturday afternoons, with a nominal yearly membership fee.
