Guide Review - Tobacco Road - Miami's Oldest Bar
An old-time favorite, Tobacco Road was established in 1912 and has a somewhat shady history of run-ins with local law enforcement authorities. That said, it's the absolute best place in town to find a huge greasy hamburger and you're liable to hear some of the best live blues music in the country while you're dining.
The menu includes typical bar fare, including a great greasy cheeseburger. If you're looking for a healthy meal, The Road is definitely not the place to go. However, if you're looking for a great burger and a beer at a decent price, you'll love this joint. They run several weekly specials that draw regular crowds:
If you're a Miami resident and you haven't been to Tobacco Road at least once, you're missing an important part of your Miami cultural experience! If you're visiting town, make a stop at The Road for a great filling meal and a few drinks.
