Tobacco Road - Miami's Oldest Bar

Great food and live entertainment in typical no-frills dive bar style.

An old-time favorite, Tobacco Road was established in 1912 and has a somewhat shady history of run-ins with local law enforcement authorities. That said, it's the absolute best place in town to find a huge greasy hamburger and you're liable to hear some of the best live blues music in the country while you're dining.

The menu includes typical bar fare, including a great greasy cheeseburger. If you're looking for a healthy meal, The Road is definitely not the place to go. However, if you're looking for a great burger and a beer at a decent price, you'll love this joint. They run several weekly specials that draw regular crowds:

• Tuesday is Lobster Night - Get a 1 1/4 pound Maine lobster with mashed potatoes and slaw for $12.49
• Wednesday is Ribs Night - All you can eat ribs with fries, potato or salad for $10.99
• Thursday is Steak Night - Get a 16 oz T-bone with salad and fries or potato for $10.99

Note that all of the weekly specials come with a two-drink minimum.
