Marlins 2009 SeasonThis year’s season opens on April 6th with a 3-game series at home against the Washington Nationals. The team’s full 2009 schedule is available online.
If you’re planning to head out for a game, be sure to consult the Dolphin Stadium seating chart before purchasing tickets. If you’re looking to entertain the kids, check out the 2009 promotions schedule to identify games with promotional giveaways and other events. One of our family’s favorite outings is a trip to Dolphin Stadium on a summer Saturday for an evening game followed by a post-game fireworks show.
Getting to Dolphin StadiumIf you haven’t been to Dolphin Stadium in the past, you might be surprised to learn that it’s not located in Miami. The ballpark is actually equidistant from Miami and Fort Lauderdale, located about one mile south of the Broward County line. We offer driving directions from various points in South Florida.
General parking at Dolphin Stadium is $10 for Marlins games. Most gates open two hours prior to starting time, but early birds may access Gates 2 and 5 half an hour before other gates open. Disabled parking is available at Gates A, C, E and G. Here’s an insider tip: TicketsNow offers VIP parking passes for $20 for most Marlins games.
