Miami's full of romantic restaurants that offer great opportunities for taking your sweetie out for a fine meal. Whether it's your first date or your twentieth Valentine's Day together, you're certain to find a restaurant with a romantic atmosphere that suits your taste. This article takes a look at a few of my favorite romantic restaurants in Miami.

1. Casa Tua

Casa Tua
Casa Tua is a fabulously romantic restaurant hidden inside a Mediterranean house on South Beach's 17th Street between Washington and Collins. Their menu features Northern Italian cuisine, including such delicacies as Beef Tenderloin with Foie Gras, Toasted Hazelnuts and Leeks and Grilled Dover Sole with Organic Baby Vegetables. Dining at Casa Tua is a one-of-a-kind experience.

2. Emeril's Miami Beach

Food Network star Emeril Lagasse brings his unique cajun cuisine to the sands of South Beach. Emeril's Miami Beach is one of my favorite restaurants for entertaining business guests or enjoying a nice meal with a loved one.

Located in the landmark Mandarin Oriental hotel on Brickell Key, Azul is one of the most romantic places to eat in Miami. Between its waterfront setting and fantastic view of the Miami skyline, dinner at Azul tends to be an unforgettable evening.

4. The Palm

The Palm is a classic steakhouse: fine beef, lobster and other specialties served in a romantic, sophisticated environment. My husband and I love to eat there and appreciate that "our" waiter not only remembers our names but details about events in our lives when we return. Be sure to try the cheesecake -- they fly it in from New York!

5. The Restaurant at The Setai

If you're looking for an Asian twist to a romantic evening, take a visit to The Restaurant at The Setai. This unique restaurant is located inside one of the swankest hotels on South Beach. I've heard others remark that the service hasn't matched their expectations, but I have nothing but good things to say about my visits there. The roasted Peking duck is one of my favorite dishes in Miami!
