Looking for Christmas events in Miami and South Florida? We have everything from Santa Claus and Christmas Trees to performances of the Nutcracker.

1. Santa’s Enchanted Forest

Dawn Ashley
Between the long days, warm spring-like temperatures and lack of snow, it is sometimes impossible to get in the spirit. When these days get the better of you, go where Christmas is in the air- Santa's Enchanted Forest. Only Scrooge himself wouldn't ho-ho-ho here!

2. Winterfest Boat Parade

The Seminole Casino Winterfest Boat Parade in Fort Lauderdale offers magical moments for kids and adults alike featuring festively decorated boats and a visit from Santa Claus!

3. Storytime with Santa at the Deering Estate

Santa pays his annual visit to the Deering Estate’s Stone House Ballroom and reads classic holiday stories. He’s also promised to pose for photographs with children. Parents can either bring their own cameras or purchase professional photographs at the estate.

4. Bayfront Park Christmas Tree

Bayfront Park is no Rockefeller Center, so we’ll have to make do with an artificial tree. Regardless, this 50-foot behemoth brings the holiday season to downtown Miami’s Flagler Promenade between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve.

5. Miami City Ballet Performs The Nutcracker

This Christmas classic brings Sugar Plum Fairies to the Adirenne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami and the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale. Tickets start at $19.75.
