The Amazing Race 11: All-Stars Edition Starts in Miami

According to a Variety report, CBS recently confirmed that they will be filming the Amazing Race 11: All-Stars Edition in Miami.

This race brings a new twist to the series: an All-Stars cast consisting of past winners and high performers from previous Amazing Race seasons. Among those suspected to appear when the Race airs in January 2007 are:

• Bill and Joe (Team Guido) from the Amazing Race 1
• Kevin and Drew (Fraternity Brothers) from the Amazing Race 1
• Oswald and Danny (Team Cha Cha Cha) from the Amazing Race 2
• Teri and Ian (Married Parents) from the Amazing Race 3
• John Vito and Jill (Dating) from the Amazing Race 3
• Tian and Jaree (Friends/Models) from the Amazing Race 4
• Charla and Mirna (Cousins) from the Amazing Race 5
• Kris and Jon (Dating Long Distance) from the Amazing Race 6
• Rob and Amber (Engaged Couple) from the Amazing Race 7
• Joyce and Uchenna (Married Couple) from the Amazing Race 7
• Eric and Danielle were both on the Amazing Race 9, but not on the same team. Eric was one of The Frat Boys and Danielle was Childhood Friends with Dani
• Dustin and Kandice (Beauty Queens) from the Amazing Race 10
• David and Mary (Coalminer and Wife) from the Amazing Race 10

Eyewitness reports cited by Variety state that several teams were spotted with camera crews at Miami International Airport waiting to board an American Airlines flight to Quito, Ecuador. The Amazing Race isn't Miami's only reality TV connection this season. We're also home to two reality TV contestants: Marisa DeMato from The Apprentice: Los Angeles and Edgardo Rivera from Survivor: Fiji.
