What Time is it in Florida? Miami Local Time

Information on the current time in Miami, Miami's Time Zone and Daylight Saving Time

Miami is in the Eastern Time Zone. We follow Daylight Saving Time, so we change our clocks twice a year. On the first Sunday in March, we "spring forward" and advance our clocks one hour at 2AM (which becomes 3AM). Similarly, on the first Sunday in November, we "fall back", setting our clocks back one hour at 2AM (which becomes 1AM).

Most of Florida, including Miami, is in the Eastern Time Zone. The western portion of the Florida panhandle is in the Central Time Zone.
