Advice on Moving to Miami

We also have a wonderful little 2 1/2 yr old boy who we need to think of. I feel that we will do better even with the high cost of living. Let me know what you think and don't hold back as we need to know. Tell us about the areas and where is a good out-of-the-city place to live. How much have your expenses gone up since your move?"
