Looking to adopt a new pet? Bikkie(shown to the left) is just one of many pets available for adoption from Miami Dade Animal Services this week. She's a 28lb Australian shepherd mix and is just an eight-month old puppy. Here's what her Animal Services caretakers have to say about her:
"G'day mate, my name is Bikkie (biscuit, cookie in Aussie) and I am dazzling. I am an intelligent, active, good natured dog. Australian Shepherds are working dogs and loyal companions; don’t forget we have the stamina to work all day, so I need to be trained and exercised, watching TV all day is not for me. I am looking for a new home where I can play boomerang and learn many new tricks. I have a cute Aussie accent in my bark, so we’ll have fun!"
