Miami-Dade Transit recently launched a new service offering riders the ability to
receive text message alerts of transit problems. This service will automatically notify you of service disruptions in Miami's mass transit system, allowing you to alter your travel plans.
Alerts are available via text message, e-mail and pager. Sign up at the

Clifford the Big Red Dog Visits Miami

Adventures with Clifford The Big Red Dog is a 2,500 square-foot bilingual exhibit that transports visitors to the homes of Clifford™, Emily Elizabeth™, and all of the residents of Birdwell Island where they engage in cooperative play activities that foster appropriate social and emotional development. Complete with A Big Red Clifford and an equally large doghouse, the exhibit offers a number of interactive and visual happenings to delight children and families alike.
