Thursday May 8, 2008 | permalink | comments (0) Miami Pet of the Week: Ocean Breeze
Looking to adopt a new pet? Ocean Breeze (shown to the left) is just one of many pets available for adoption from Miami Dade Animal Services this week. He's a one-year old domestic shorthair. Here's what the Animal Services caretakers have to say about him:
"Ocean Breeze has the most adorable squeaky purr and loves attention. He wants to be your social secretary, but beware: "he dosn t tipe varry well." If you give Ocean Breeze lots of kitty activities like scratching posts, cat toys and things to climb on, he might just stay off your computer keyboard when you're trying to work. But don't count it. Ocean Breeze loves attention on his own terms and he loves brushing. He's beautiful, affectionate, funny, chatty and just looking for a like-minded human to share his life with." "I am very seriously looking at moving to USA from London with my family, my wife and 5 yr old son and 3 yr old daughter! Miami area seems right for us, being Londoners we do require the facilities of big city life, but want to be outside the city knowing it's there if we need. So I need some guidance on the right town for us. Obviously good schools are important, my children are in private schooling over here and I would consider the same. Together with good schools, we would like a nice community, in a safe area preferably not too far from the ocean and hopefully with suitable property. We would need 4 - 5 beds, good living space and at least 2 bathrooms. There are lots of towns on the website, but it's a bit of a shot in the dark at the moment! I appreciate that I need to visit the area shortly, but any help and ideas would be greatly appreciated. if you have any pointers as to Green Cards and employment that would be good too!"
